Welcome to SkillLoop. By creating an account or using this platform, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.

1. What SkillLoop is

SkillLoop is a digital learning platform that helps teenagers build real-world life skills through structured lessons, exercises, quizzes, and reflections. SkillLoop provides educational skill-building content. It is not a substitute for medical care, therapy, or emergency services, and nothing on the platform constitutes medical advice.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Accounts for users under 18 require parent or guardian consent.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Where SkillLoop services are provided through a participating care team and reimbursed by insurance, the family's use of the platform may be at no direct cost. Eligibility is determined by the care team and payer, not by SkillLoop's website.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not share your account, scrape the platform, or attempt to access other users' data.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights.
• Physical exercises should be performed in a safe, clear space. Stop any exercise that causes pain, and consult a qualified professional about your individual limits.

5. Intellectual property

All platform content — lessons, videos we produce, quizzes, designs, and branding — belongs to SkillLoop or its licensors. You may use it for personal, non-commercial learning only.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkillLoop is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
